Candelabrums are static world objects that can provide light, much like a fire. Unlike a fire, the candelabrum is not destroyed when it burns out, instead the candle disappears and must be replaced. Needless to say, you also cannot cook with a candelabrum.
A candelabrum provides a light radius twice that of a torchpost, with equal intensity. With enough beehives and active farming, candles are significantly easier to produce than torches.
Lit candelabrums can be carried around, working as a sort of heavy torch, which may be useful if your hands and head is full.
