Cruel Splinter is a Curiosity which can be used in the Study Report to earn Learning Points.

Heals fast with yarrow.

"Scrapes & Cuts" wound has a high change (100% ?) of turning into a more serious wound on consecutive additional small wounds.

How to Acquire

It's sometimes acquired when chopping a tree or chopping wooden logs using any axe and gives 5 HHP Scrapes & Cuts wound when acquired. Can give Nasty Laceration or Deep Cut if you already have Scrapes & Cuts

There seems to be an increase Cruel Splinter chance when the energy is less than 8000.
