Ruby Dragonfly is a very rare superior version of an Curiosity which can be used in the Study Interface to earn Learning Points. Even at only q10 quality they are a great curiosity, due to short study time, and low Mental Weight.

Their appearance is similar to an Emerald Dragonfly and they also only appear in Swamps, the inventory icon has slight red tinge see top right.

How to Acquire

They only fly around in swamps same as Emerald Dragonflies, so you can't run after them, which makes them quite tricky to catch. The easiest way currently is to catch them on horseback, as horses currently move normal speed in a swamp. An alternative method (if you're good at it) is to try and intercept them since their flying pattern is quite clear. Another way is just to rightclick and wait, it might take a while but sooner or later you will catch it.

-NOTE: Since the Emerald and Ruby Dragonflies are separate entities, you can study both at once, for a hefty gain!
