Leather Backpack, along with the Birchbark Backpack use the "back" equipment slot, which is the sixth equipment slot on the right. While equipped, it extends inventory space by 2 vertical bars. As with all items that provide extra storage, these bonuses are cumulative. Because it uses the back slot, it cannot be used simultaneously with a quiver.

It takes 6 pieces of Leather, 4 Strings and the tanning skill to create a backpack.

The capacity of the Leather Backpack is irrespective of its quality, and thus the lowest quality materials available should be used first when making backpacks.
