Functions as a container. Can have a random ocean fish inside. Can put other items freely inside, most amusingly you can put the cleaned remains of the Pelican inside it's own Pouch. This has no function other than potentially saving inventory space (most effectively you want to carry Dead Pelicans to your base completely intact for best space efficiency.)
Items can unintentionally go inside the Pouch, for example if you use "shift+ right click" for "take all" on a container or a stockpile.
The pouch must be empty in order to be stuffed, so you don't need to worry about deleting valuables hidden inside a pouch when preparing it.
