A skeleton is the body of a creature after its flesh has been butchered or rotted away. Being around another person's skeleton drains player's happiness (although happiness plays no role in the game). [Verify]: Only human skeletons?
Types
Once killed, the following entities will leave a skeleton after butchering or after a long period of time has elapsed.
Utility
In order to ward off looters, some villages will leave the skeletons of their human victims outside of their palisade/wall as a symbol of what they can and have done to people in the past.
Human skeletons can have their Skulls removed.
