A birchbark basket holds 9 slots in a 3x3 grid. Though its material costs are low, it can be difficult to make, as Birch Trees are often stripped of bark in the starting areas and are easily depleted. Wooden Boxes are probably more accessible for the same amount of storage. Birchbark baskets are 50% larger than a Wicker Basket in terms of storage, though, so if a significant supply of birchbark is available, birchbark baskets are a decent intermediate option for storage before crates or cupboards.
