More specifically, when 'Mine Song' is active, the amount of ore (and stone) contained in the cave wall tiles is effectively increased. This magic can thus be very important when dealing with rare/high quality deposits, but presumably a hindrance when tunneling a path through the rock. Contrary to what the description could imply.
