Thicket is a densely packed forest area full of Ticks.
Thicket can't be traversed while riding a domesticated horse or with a horse pulled wagon. But a leased horse will follow across thicket. This includes following across cliffs covered by thicket. [Verify: wagon:Bull?.] )
Walking within thicket at anything more than a crawl uses stamina very quickly.
Thicket is the home of ticks. Which will, just as leeches, randomly attach themself to your character if given the chance.
Unlike other soft terrains (Grasslands, Forests or Plowed fields) thicket is kinda permanent. It will for example, unlike other soft terrains, not turn to dirt when the tile elevation is changed. (Its the main-terrain underlying the thicket, as thicket is an terrain overlay, that is turned to dirt.)
The only way to get rid of thicket terrain is by plowing it with a plow, which also drains stamina very quickly (but less than creating plowed fields). This will turn the ground to its underlying main-terrain (same as with winter-snow).
Notes
- Bushes can't be lifted from thicker terrain. (Like with the Sandthorn Bushes on beach terrain.)
