Denmothers are larger, stronger Badgers that serve as mini-bosses in Badger Setts. You will generally find one or two in the large rooms within them, with each dungeon usually containing at least one large room with at least one Denmother. They cannot be found in the wild.
Badgers are short-legged omnivores, distant relative to Otter and Wolverine.
Badger Setts are mini-dungeons inhabited by Badgers and Denmothers.
Combat
Behaviour
Extremely aggressive in a certain radius to everyone, as all creatures have far higher aggression within dungeons. Being dungeon-dwellers only, they will never flee.
Combat Moves
Strategy
Denmothers are slightly stronger than Badgers, about on par with Wolverines. Due to the cramped quarters of a dungeon, the only real strategy you should be using is an ordinary duel and/or kiting them, with no other tricks. If you need to use cliffs or ranged combat to kill them, you simply shouldn't be doing the dungeon yet.
In-Game Example(s)
Dead Denmother. Can be skinned for Fresh Badger Hide.
Skinned Denmother. Its model is not displayed correctly. Can be butchered for Intestines, Entrails and Raw Badger.
