The freshly cut hide from a Squirrel. Needs to be dried to be used for crafting or tanning.
How to Acquire
Fresh Squirrel Hides are obtained by killing a Squirrel and skinning it while holding a sharp object such as a stone axe. Each squirrel provides one hide.
When dried on a drying frame and tanned in a tanning tub, squirrel hide provides one Leather. As squirrel are harmless, obtaining a Fresh Squirrel Hide is one of the earliest ways to obtain leather
