Oyster Pearls are a rare and valuable Curiosity which can be used in the Study Report to earn Learning Points. This is contender for the best foraging curiosity in the game, giving a massive 5000 base LP for only 1 hour study time and is a type of Gemstone, as well as a Curiosity and a Gilding object that gives boosts on learning ability.

Gilding Attributes are Strength, Chance: 20% to 60%


How to Acquire

Cracking an Oyster into an Opened Oyster, will very rarely result in a pearl in addition.

Notes

  • A pearl's quality is equal to the Oyster 's quality, unmodified by tool quality or Hearthling skills.


Game Development

  • Narwhal Study (2026-01-22) >"Crafting anything with "River Pearl Mussels" or "Oyster"s will now return any potential pearls found in the mollusks, meaning that it is now safe to cook with them without losing pearls by doing so. On account of this, the "Moules Frites" recipe now takes mussles, quite simply, rather than boiled mussels."
