To calculate the brick cost of an x*y sized brickwall one can use this formula: 465+20*(x+y)
To calculate the brick cost of a rectangular x*y sized brickwall one can use this formula: 465+20*(x+y).

In case of a square brickwall above becomes: 465+40*x

A very sturdy wall, indestructible without Battering Ram.

How to Acquire

Build > Walls and Fences > Brickwall

Begin by constructing a cornerpost, after its construction is complete there is a 12 hours waiting period for it to set, before allowing further interaction with it.

After it sets right click the cornerpost to expand the wall south, north, west or east. Placing a new cornerpost using a wall segment is needed to change direction (subsequent corneposts require less materials and don't have a 12 hour wait time like the first).

Two free tiles flanked by cornerposts on both sides make possible a gate. Once a gate has been built, the character that laid the final touch on the gate will receive a Key for it.

Notes

For extensive help and additional information, see the Notes: section on Palisades.

To calculate the brick cost of a rectangular x*y sized brickwall one can use this formula: 465+20*(x+y). Or use this calculator. (formulas based on 1 gate, 1 initial cornerpost and 4 subsequent cornerposts)
