How to use
Right click with a torch on a fire source (fire or fireplace) to light it. Equip the lit torch in your right or left-hand slot. You can then use it as a light source or as a way to light objects such as a kilns or smelters. Placing a lit torch in the inventory will put it out.
Torches start with 100% fuel when crafted. Fuel will be used over time while the torch is lit, and about 1% will be used every time the player lights it up. A lit torch will last for about 14 real hours.
You can refuel the torch by right-clicking with the torch on any container containing tar, such as a barrel or bucket, even while lit. Refueling a torch 100% takes up 1l of tar. This is roughly about 1.72l of tar needed per day in order to keep a torch lit at all times.
Torches can be placed atop a Torchpost.
TIP: you can freely move around, while keeping the lit torch on your cursor, by holding down CTRL key and clicking normally.
