A tough, waterproof, flammable adhesive. Tar is used for making grand buildings and water crafts, as well as Tarsticks and Torches. It is a by-product of producing coal in a Tar Kiln, but can also be found naturally from Tarpits. It can be stored in barrels.

How to Acquire

After a Tar Kiln has finished producing coal, right-click with a bucket on the tar kiln, and you will get Tar. The amount of produced tar depends on the amount and type of wood you used to produce coal. Pine Tree blocks produce largest amounts of tar out of all trees. A tar kiln holds up to 10L of tar.

Usage

Tar is used to craft certain items like Torches, as well as Tarsticks, a key ingredient in some high-end buildings, notably Ship Docks, Snekkjas and Knarrs.

It is also used to Tar and Rowboat. A rowboat must be tarred with 2.50L of tar before it will properly float on water. Simply right click a bucket or barrel with at least 2.50L of tar in it to the boat, or the boat onto a barrel or other container filled with tar.

Quality

Quality of tar is the resulted quality of coal, softcapped by the tar kiln Q.
