Tarsticks can be used as fuel and thatching material.
Additionally, they can be used to repair Snekkja or Knarr if they were damaged after going through Deep Water tiles.
- NOTE: you cannot perform the repair function while still in Deep Water, only in Shallow Water.
- It is recommended to always bring extra tarsticks for repair if your long sea travel includes taking a trip back home.
They count as 20 sticks (or 20 branches) worth of fuel.
You can right click some tarsticks and click "Place fire" to instantly make a Fire, so you can use low quality tar to make an easy, convenient and portable fire.
