The packrack is an equipment item for the use on cows and bulls. The packrack can hold up to 2 objects (barrels, chests, wheelbarrows etc.) and has a storage space of 5x5.

Crafting the packrack requires: 1x bar of any metal, 4x hardened leather, 6x cloth, 6x leather, 4x ropes, 4x bone glue, 4x boards, 5 litres of tar

You could store a barrel on one of your cows in your cattle pen for easy access when milking.
