Build > Production & Processing > Cheese Rack

Leaving a Cheese Tray filled with 4 pieces of Curd or Sheep's Curd on a cheese rack for some time will produce cheese. Cheese racks can hold up to 3 Cheese Trays and can only be lifted while empty. To build one, you must have first discovered cheese curds.

Quality

Cheese Rack quality = qBoard+qBlock2

However, cheese rack quality does not affect cheese quality. Cheese tray quality does affect cheese quality.

Appearance

Cheese Racks are affected by the wood used in construction.

Boards: shelves.
Blocks: sides.

Game Development

  • Hat Placement (2022-11-04) >"Adjusted Cheese Timers. Cheese should now no longer begin to transform again without being replaced in a rack. I.e. all cheese stages are stable until you replace the trays in racks. Inspired by this."
  • Raw Trucker (2021-09-05) >"The quality of cheese racks no longer matters for cheese quality. Tray quality still matters. You. Are. Welcome."
