The Spherical Parchment Lantern is a craftable light source fueled by a candle. By first building two Lantern Posts and stringing a Rope between the posts, the lantern can be right clicked onto the rope. It can be lit by any source of ignition.

Lanterns have a general total burn time of around a real time week.

(Why these lanterns have a quality is unknown. Probably due to tricky quality removal implementation issues.)

Notes

• Lit lanterns, hanging on the lantern line, can be extinguished by picking them up and then placing them in some inventory.
• Lit lanterns can't be used as an ignition source themself.
• Lanterns can be lit while holding them. And also with a fire source on your cursor while there hanging on the lantern line.
• Lantern fuel level (100%..>0%) can be checked by picked a lit lantern from the line and looking at there tooltip.
• Lanterns can be refueled with a new candle when there fuel level is at 0%.
