Large, fat and tough creatures resting on beaches. Walrii are aggressive, and will likely engage in combat with nearby players.

Walrus are slow on land and can be easily outrun on a horse, however, in water they require a Snekkja or Knarr, as they are quicker than a rowboat and low quality ships, and, in rare occasions, faster than a Snekkja.

Walrus are able to inflict Seal Finger wounds with their attacks, additionally these can also be obtained from butchering their corpses. The chance for wound from butchering is reduced if wearing Poor Man's Gloves or Plate Gauntlets.

Aggresive, initiating attack with a walrus will also get the attention of other nearby walrus.

Strategy

Do not attempt to fight more than a single Walrus at once, if fighting a group, try to line them up and attack only one at once .

If fighting in water, be incredibly aware that they use a restoration (See Combat Moves > Tail Splash) that can deal damage in a small area around the Walrus, so the above tactic is a must-do or else you will be hit real hard.

Preferably fight them on a Horse, as they are relatively slow outside water.

Dead Walrus. Can be skinned for Fresh Walrus Hide.
Skinned Walrus. Can be butchered for Intestines, Entrails, Animal Fat and Raw Walrus.
Walrus Skeleton. Can be collected for Walrus Tusk and Bone Material.

Notes

• To get to you, walrii will destroy any objects obstructing their path with lower than Soak 25, meaning only Palisades and Brickwalls will stop their bloodlust.
