River Pearls are extremely rare and valuable items used mainly for crafting jewelry that boosts learning ability. River pearls are also a Curiosity: In fact, they are one of the best curiosities in the game, taking only a single hour to give a massive 5000 base LP!
How to Acquire
Cooking a River Pearl Mussel into a Boiled River Pearl Mussel, will very rarely result in a pearl in addition to a boiled mussel.
The odds of obtaining a pearl is 1% per mussel.
Notes
- Loftar stated on IRC on the 27/8/2010 that "No", obtaining a pearl does not depend on your nature/industy belief.
- A pearl's quality is equal to the uncooked mussel's quality, unmodified by cauldron, water, or cooking skill.
