Raw mussels can be cooked into Boiled Mussels. While boiling, there is a chance for the mussel to contain a River Pearl. Mussels are often found in clusters but more can be seen based on perception and exploration. Mussel quality is based on nodes similar to other resources.

To boil it you require Fishing.

How to Acquire

Mussels can be found exclusively in the shallow water of rivers. You can "Pick" them up in the same manner you would would a stinging nettle or rustroot. Generally, you start to see mussels around 760 per*exp (eg. 19*40).

  • Narwhal Study (2026-01-22) >"Added a new input type "Frutti di Mare". Fruits of the Sea include Edible Seashells, such as Mussels and Clams, and Crustaceans such as Crabs, Lobsters, or Shrimp."
  • Narwhal Study (2026-01-22) >"Crafting anything with "River Pearl Mussels" or "Oyster"s will now return any potential pearls found in the mollusks, meaning that it is now safe to cook with them without losing pearls by doing so. On account of this, the "Moules Frites" recipe now takes mussles, quite simply, rather than boiled mussels."
