When a Candle is added to a miner's helm, it becomes a hands-free source of light, perfect for use with a Pickaxe.
It greatly reduces damage taken from cave ins while taking a penalty to its quality, often breaking it entirely.

How to Acquire

First you need to wield a smithy's hammer in one hand. Then right click an anvil.

• Miner's Helm Quality = Failed to parse (syntax error): {\displaystyle \frac{\frac{_{q}Metal+ _{q}Leather}+ _{q}Candle}{3} * 9 + {_{q}Anvil* 4 + _{q}Smithy's Hammer}* 3}{16}} and is softcapped by ${\sqrt[{2}]{Strength*Smiting}}$.

Notes

• Once acquired, you can add a candle by right clicking on the Miner's Helm with Candle in hand.
• To extinguish the candle, simply remove the Miner's Helm.
• As of update "Burning Harmonica", this item is now considered armor.
