Boar Spear is a two-handed weapon that can be used for melee combat and can also be thrown from a distance by using Shoot.

Warning: Boar Spear can get randomly destroyed when it is thrown and hits something. Also you might not be able to recover it if Boar Spear hits a cliff.

Boar Spear gives extra range to Melee Combat moves that utilize it, allowing you to "cheese" animals from outside their attack range using a Boat. This does require careful pre-positioning though, if you use a move out of range the character will move to collide with the target.

How to Acquire

First, you need to wield a smithy's hammer in one hand. Then right click an anvil and craft the spear.

Quality

• Despite it's name, Boar Spear does not provide any special bonus when confronting furious Wild Boar.
