Reeds are a thick brownish-tan plant that grows in large numbers in fresh water, particularly lakes. Reeds have collision and therefore block boats and players. Players are able to clear a tile of Reeds using a sharp tool, resulting in the reeds being added to their inventory.

The produced reeds quality is the used Sharp Tool quality softcapped by the source reed quality which is first hardcapped by Survival.
