About fuel and timing
There is a discrepancy between the time it takes for a food to bake, and the time the fuel lasts. Talking in terms of branches as ticks, 4 branches/ticks lasts for 20 minutes, while food that takes 4 branches to cook actually cook in 18 minutes. There was a discrepancy in legacy Haven as well, however it was that 1 cooking time tick is 5 minutes, and 1 fuel tick is 5 minutes and 33 seconds. It seems now this has been changed so fuel is based off incrememnts of 5 minutes, and cooking time is lower. I have not finished thoroughly investigating this but I am confident with everything said so far, at least applied to ovens. An update to the tick page is in order, perhaps merging it with the fuel page would make sense. --ApocalypsePlease (talk) 21:42, 23 November 2015 (EST)
- I double-checked branch burning time, one tick appears to be 4:50 (9:40 with 2 branches) rather than full 5 minutes. Got there results for ovens, kilns and smelters, so we can assume finery forges and alloying crucibles are the same. One tick for steel crucibles is 40 minutes. Tick page should redirect to Fuel page, as ticks are directly tied to fuel. I will test baking times for all of the baking products some time later.--Asgaroth22 (talk) 06:25, 24 November 2015 (EST)

- Oven thinking hiccup: "baked object" versus "unbaked object". (ie: multi-stage product creation)
- - Creation "unbaked object": Skill required.
- - Creation "baked object": ie: putting "unbaked object" in the oven and lighting the oven. No skill required (probably).
