Tough Bark is used along with Water to create Bark Cordage, a form of String.
Tough Bark can also be used to create Tanning Fluid just like regular Treebark, and it's a less efficient material for making Tanning Fluid than Exquisite Rot
Birchbark also can be used in recipes that require Tough Bark.
How to Acquire
You can acquire Tough Bark by selecting 'Take bark' on a specific range of trees. See Produced By in Infobox.
Taking bark from other trees gives Treebark, except Birch and Warty Birch which will give Birchbark instead.
