A character can sit in a chair by right-clicking on it. Sitting in a chair will speed up Stamina recovery (as well as the generation of Hunger), similar to drinking from a Water container.

The chair also provides a 5% Hunger Modifier and 1% Food Event bonus when feasting on a table. The quality of the chair does not matter.

Note that you cannot log in "Where you last logged out" if there is an object in the way, thus, if you log out on a chair, it will have to be moved or you will have to choose the Hearthfire or Wilderness log-in option.

Notes

A chair can only be built inside of a house. It can later be moved to wherever it is needed.
