Bushes grow much faster than trees, making them ideal for getting quality Blocks of Wood quickly.

How to Acquire

To dig up a bush, use the lift action with a shovel equipped (Exceptions: Beach and snow covered ground). Then you can place it like any other object and it will continue growing berries.

Bushes can also be grown in the same way as trees, by planting a seed in a Treeplanter's Pot. Bushes take about 100 hours (a little over 4 days) to fully mature, on any terrain. Like trees, they can get randomly stunted during growth.

Notes

Bushes respawn their products (berries, etc) based on the decay system, which means that it's completely random and unpredictable for sparsely populated areas. In most cases, it's faster to simply grow new bushes than to wait for a respawn.
