Dusk Fern is foraged plant. Assuming base 10 Perception, you need 15 Exploration for a chance to see them.

How to use

While edible raw, Dusk Ferns are most useful as crafting material, counting both as Leaf and Salad Greens. Without access to crops like Lettuce and Beetroot, Dusk Ferns are one of the best options.

Where to find

They spawn in the first cave layer, but only near natural entrances.

Mountains have an abundance of natural entrances and can therefore host a decent-sized tunnel network where Dusk Ferns spawn all over the place.
