The dried hide of a Grey Seal. Tanning this in a Tanning Tub will create 2 leather.
How to Acquire
Grey Seal Hides are obtained by killing a Grey Seal and skinning it while holding a sharp object such as a Stone Axe.
After having been dried on a Drying Frame and tanned in a Tanning Tub, a single Grey Seal Hide provides decent Quality Leather. Alternatively, you can create Seal Hide Hoses. It takes 2 ingame days (16 hours) to dry , 10min = 1%.
Quality
The Quality of a Grey Seal Hide is affected by Survival and the sharp tool quality (ie.: stone axe).
If (ToolQ < HideQ) then
If (Survival < HideQ) then
Tool quality softcap is applied before the survival softcap.
