How to Acquire

For a creature that fits in a player's Inventory, you must first prepare the animal's body. Remove all the following, if applicable : The animal's Hide, Feathers, and Entrails. (Fishes are the exception to this rule, and must be placed directly onto a Roasting Spit.

A creature that must have its carcass carried by the player will simply have to be skinned, then Right-clicked onto a Roasting Spit. The player must not butcher it in order to be able to roast the animal. An Axe will be needed to skin the carcass.

To aquire roasted meat, the player must be sure to have a Roasting Spit over a lit Fireplace, then Right-click the readied animal corpse onto the spit. Roasting meat this way increases the amount of meat by 25%, but will prevent the collection of Bones. For bigger animals, you will instead obtain Bone Ash after roasting, with the quality halved of the quality of the Bone you would otherwise get if you just butchered the animal for meat instead of spitroasting the carcass).

Immediately after cooking your animal of choice, you will receive Sizzling Spitroast Lynx. The Sizzling Buff grants 25% extra FEP for 30 minutes. After this duration, the Meat will cool down and turn back into Spitroast Lynx.

You get 12 pieces of meat, 2 Bone Ash.

Quality

The Quality of Spitroast Meat is Softcapped by the Quality of the Roasting Spit

The Quality of the raw animal placed on the Roasting Spit is determined by the player who prepared the carcass, i.e., removed the hide and entrails of the carcass. The carcass' Quality is precisely determined by this player's Survival ability (for wild animals) or their Farming ability (for Tamed Animals).
