How to Acquire

You must have the fishing skill and a fully equipped Bushcraft Fishingpole or Primitive Casting-Rod in order to catch fish.

Use the menu action

to cast your line into a body of water.

Zander can also occasionally be found in Tidepools, which occasionally replenish with various fish.

How to Use

Zander can be prepared severals ways, including Spitroasting, Drying, or cooked over an open Fire

Once caught and butchered, a Zander produces 2 Raw Filets

To cook a Filet of Zander over a fire creates Roast Filet of Zander.

Drying a Filet of Zander on a Drying Frame takes around 66 RL hours and produces Dried Filet of Zander.

Spitroasting a whole Zander over a fire using a Roasting Spit creates 3 pieces of Spitroast Zander.
