A Metal Shovel is an upgrade to the Wooden Shovel, and can be used with little stamina drain to rapidly dig for Clay, Soil, Sand and Snow and to quickly remove Tree Stumps. While using Land Surveys, metal shovels dig a base value of 4 units of soil, modified by quality. A shovel is also required to dig up Bushes.

How to Acquire

First you need to wield a smithy's hammer in one hand. Then right click an anvil.
