How to Acquire

Tough roots are randomly produced when removing tree stumps. Per stump one can get none, or [1..10] tough roots. (Higher values seem to be more rare. With 2 to 4 being more common).

Quality

The quality of Tough Roots is based on the quality of the stump that was removed.

Notes

  • Only regular stumps give tough roots. Old stumps don't.
  • (Some regular tree types might also not give tough roots. But its a bit tricky to be sure.)

Game Development

  • Tough Jugs (2022-06-05) >"Added a "Wicker" resource. Currently "Tough Root"s, "Branch"es, and "Straw String" count as "Wicker". "Wicker Basket"s, "Wicker Picker"s and "Bread Basket"s now ask for wicker, rather than branches specifically."
