Bar of Gold is a type of metal acquired from Mining and Smelting Metal Ores using buildings such as an Ore Smelter, Alloying Crucible, or Finery Forge. Due to the inherent dangers of mining and relative scarcity of ore, all types of metal are highly sought after. A Bar of Gold is highly sought after for its use in jewelry

How to Acquire

Gold cannot be mined in the first nor the second underground layers. You must dig deeper to find it. This means you need to prospect with Rustroot Extract on the second underground level, find gold below, then build a Mine Hole at the second layer to access the third.

After smelting enough Ore to obtain 10 Gold Nuggets, the player must use an Alloying Crucible to create A Bar of Gold.

Note When repairing, Bar of Gold counts as Bar of Any Metal. Be cautious not to repair anything with gold in you inventory, as you might lose it.
