Dross is a type of Stone, a byproduct obtained in the process of making Bars of Wrought Iron.

How to Acquire

Load Bars of Cast Iron into a Finery Forge and fuel with two units of Coal. Each bar will have a 50% chance of becoming Bloom, and a 50% chance of becoming Dross.

Quality of Fuel or Ore Smelter does not affect the quality of the Bar of Cast Iron when smelting Dross.

Uses

• Can be re-smelted for a chance (~5%) to become a Bar of Cast Iron by using 12 units of coal.
• Used along with eggs to produce Turquoise Pigment for Sketches.
• Can be used in paving.

Trivia

Before World 11, this was known as slag. Slag is now a different product which comes as the result of smelting.
