Black Ore is an Ore, it must be smelted in an Ore Smelter to extract Bar of Cast Iron with 30% chance (% showed with all mining skills), otherwise it smelts into Slag. Ore is a type of Stone, so it can also be used as pavement and to build with.

- Black Ore received from mining walls in a Cave has node-based quality and is hardcapped by Masonry and then softcapped by Mining Tool.
Trivia
In real life, this ore is known as Magnetite. Magnetite is notable for both being ferrimagnetic (Will be attracted to magnets and can be permanently magnetized itself.) and being the most magnetic natural-occuring element in the world. Magnetite is also the world's leading source of iron ore.
