Meteorite is an Ore you receive from mining Falling Stars. It must be smelted in an Ore Smelter to extract Bar of Metiron with % chance, otherwise it smelts into Gneiss (which is affected by your skills). Meteorite is a type of stone, so it can also be used as pavement and to build with.
A star itself has no quality. The harvested meteorite's quality is determined by the player's skills but is softcapped by a tool.
- The chance of the Meteorite becoming a bar/nugget is calculated at the moment the ore is mined. The following skills increase this chance: Metal Working, Tunneling, Metallurgy, and Deep Artifice.
